Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has instructed officials to ensure that all necessary facilities are provided to devotees attending the Medaram Jatara festival in Mulugu. During a review meeting at Medaram Harita Hotel, Minister Seethakka emphasized the importance of providing facilities to devotees from different places who come to the fair. Specifically, measures should be taken to prevent any loss of life near the Jampanna river, and warning boards should be installed to identify danger zones. Sanitation and drinking water arrangements should also be given special attention, including the placement of dust bins and proper sanitation management. The aim is to showcase tribal culture and traditions to the world. Additionally, parking lots should have sign boards, flood lights, drinking water, and toilets to avoid any problems. Barbers should charge reasonable prices and not overcharge devotees. Lastly, sanitation management should be continuous and there should be no compromise in providing facilities for the devotees, ensuring quality standards are met in every aspect.
