Kamareddy: Senior Congress commander Mohammed Ali Shabbir criticised the BRS government for not addressing the demands of Anganwadi workers. Shabbir Ali participated in a 36-hour-long expunge held by the Anganwadi teachers and helpers near the Kamareddy Collectorate on Friday and pledged his replete bread and butter.

Speaking on the time of a particular event, Shabbir Ali alleged that there was a plot to countermine the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and not the same connected logically or causally schemes owed to funds from the BJP government at the Centre. He expressed his feeling of sympathy that the BRS government did not tangible and visible entity to those moves by the Central government, which could do harm to the of Anganwadi employees.

Shabbir Ali also pointed out that the State government was not following the Supreme Court legal verdict regarding the defrayal of gratuity to Anganwadi employees. Additionally, bread and butter payment during retirement and Kalyana Lakshmi schemes for Anganwadi employees were cancelled, while they demanded defrayal of gratuity, TA, DA, and increments.

He also emphasised that the absolute majority of the 70,000 Anganwadi workers across the State are women who be owned by to the weaker sections of society. Despite serving the characterized by poverty for the closing 40 years through ICDS, they do not have got a lower limit salary, payment during retirement, ESI, or chore security.  Shabbir Ali criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for renaming Anganwadi workers as teachers but not giving them the same salaries as teachers or facilities.

Shabbir Ali guaranteed that the Congress political party would think about all the demands of the Anganwadi workers and work out their problems within two months if the political party comes to great power in the next Assembly elections. Kamareddy DCC President Kailasa Srinivasa Rao and not the same older or higher in rank leaders also participated in the dharna.
