Security has been stepped up at Shamshabad International Airport in light of recent concerns. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has increased patrols and surveillance across the airport premises.
Officers are now on high alert 24/7, working closely with local police, intelligence agencies, and Special Branch (SB) units to ensure safety. CCTV cameras around the airport are actively monitoring every corner for any unusual activity.
To avoid delays during this heightened security period, passengers are strongly encouraged to reach the airport at least 3 hours before their flight. This will help accommodate the longer security check process.
Following orders from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, authorities are conducting thorough security checks on all travelers. As part of the safety measures, several flights have been suspended. These include flights to Srinagar, Amritsar, Jodhpur, Chandigarh, and Rajkot.
Travelers are advised to check with their airlines for the latest updates and plan their journeys accordingly.
