Hyderabad: The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) in Telangana has expressed deep sympathy to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran after recent attacks by Israel resulted in loss of life.
On Thursday, SIO’s General Secretary, Advocate Anees-ur-Rehman, and State President Mohd Faraz Ahmed visited Mahdi Shahrokhi, the Consul General of Iran, to show their support. The SIO conveyed condolences to the grieving families and offered their heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the situation.
Recent events involving attacks on Iranian territory by Israel have raised concerns about violations of international norms and diplomatic agreements. The assaults on civilian areas and important scientific figures question the respect for national sovereignty and international law. India and Iran share a long-standing relationship built on cultural and diplomatic ties. As responsible citizens and a student organization, SIO stands with the Iranian people during this challenging period, hoping for peace and stability through diplomacy and international cooperation.
