    Son of BJP Leader Arrested in Cocaine Bust at Luxury Hotel Party by Hyderabad Police

    The Hyderabad Police arrested ten people, including the son of a BJP leader, for using cocaine at a party in a five-star hotel room. Gajjala Vivekanand, the son of BJP leader G Yoganand and grandson of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah, was among those arrested for consuming cocaine at Radisson Blu in Gachibowli. Nine others were also detained in connection with the incident.

    Based on a tip-off, the police raided the hotel and found three used plastic covers with cocaine, white paper used for drug consumption, and three mobile phones. Vivekanand was taken from his home in Jubilee Hills to the police station, where he admitted to hosting the party where cocaine was consumed. His drug test came back positive.

    Vivekanand, 37, is a Director at Manjeera Group of Companies and is the son of businessman G Yoganand, who ran for office in the Telangana polls. The authorities are investigating further to find those involved in drug peddling and consumption related to this case.
