The TSRTC is running special buses on May 13 for voters heading home to vote. These buses are going to various places in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Corporation has arranged these buses for the convenience of passengers traveling to their hometowns to vote.
So far, 590 special buses have been arranged for Andhra Pradesh, with 140 services available for reservation on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route online. There are over 3,000 seats available on these buses. The buses will operate from JBS, MGBS, Uppal, LB Nagar, Aramghar, and other locations in Hyderabad. Passengers going towards Vijayawada are advised to use these special services.
The RTC authorities have instructed field level officials to make buses available according to passenger traffic. RTC MD Sajjanar has urged people to use these special buses safely to travel home and exercise their right to vote in the elections.
