Hyderabad: In the recent NASA NSS Space Settlement Contest 2025, Sri Chaitanya School emerged as the world champion. The school had 60 winning projects with the participation of 600 students.
Seema, the Academic Director of Sri Chaitanya, shared that 475 students from around 30 countries took part in the ISDC conference. Out of these, 67 students were from India, with an impressive 45 (68%) hailing from Sri Chaitanya School alone.
She highlighted that three projects won the World First Prize, four received the World Second Prize, ten secured the third prize, and 43 were given honorable mentions.
No other school or educational organization from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, or Tamil Nadu had students participating in ISDC, apart from Sri Chaitanya School.
The Sri Chaitanya team visited the Kennedy Space Center and NASA. They attended a STEM workshop, watched the launch of the Ax-4 rocket, and gained insights into engineering skills and cutting-edge technology trends.
