During the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of ISKCON and the Worldwide Hare Krishna Movement, was honored with the title of ‘Vishwa Guru’ by the Akhila Bharatiya Akhara Parishad.

Srila Prabhupada is the first and only person in history to receive this prestigious title. This recognition highlights his contributions to spreading spiritual teachings across the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Madhu Pandit Dasa expressed his happiness and said, “It brings me and the entire ISKCON community immense joy to see that Srila Prabhupada, our Acharya, has been given the title of ‘Vishwa Guru’ on the sacred occasion of Sri Nityananda Trayodashi, in the divine atmosphere of Maha Kumbh Mela.”
