Telangana State Animal Husbandry Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, announced that the government is preparing for the Bonalu festival. A review meeting was held at the Salarjung Museum with officials and local representatives to discuss the management and arrangements for the festival, which will take place in the Old City of Hyderabad on July 16.
During the meeting, Yadav mentioned that the government is taking responsibility for organizing the festival in a grand manner. To support this, a budget of Rs. 15 crores has been allocated to provide financial assistance to various temples. It is worth noting that Telangana is the only state that offers financial aid to private temples. The distribution of financial assistance to the temples in the Old City is scheduled for July 10.
