    Kothagudem: On Tuesday, during a meeting with Area General Managers, SCCL CMD N Balram highlighted the urgency of obtaining necessary permissions, particularly forest clearances. He insisted that these approvals should be secured promptly.

    Balram instructed the Area GMs to create solid action plans for the company’s growth. He also stressed the importance of monitoring employee and officer work hours and maintaining discipline. Quick approvals are crucial for starting projects without delay.

    The meeting reviewed the progress of 12 area mines and discussed strategies for upcoming mining projects. Balram mentioned specific local issues, warning that areas like Yellandu, Manuguru, and Bellampalli could face challenges if new mines are not developed.

    He emphasized reducing losses in underground mines and announced a special committee to tackle issues in the Shanthikhani and Adriyala Longwall projects.
