    Today, on April 3, 2023, petrol and diesel prices in major cities across India remained stable. In Delhi, the petrol price per litre is Rs. 96.72 while diesel is priced at Rs. 89.62 per litre. Similarly, in Hyderabad, petrol is priced at Rs. 109.66 per litre while diesel is priced at Rs. 97.82 per litre. In Chennai, petrol is available at Rs. 102.65 per litre and diesel at Rs. 94.24 per litre.

    Moving on to Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs. 106.31 per litre while diesel remains stable at Rs. 97.28 per litre. In Bangalore, petrol is priced at Rs. 101.94 per litre while diesel is available at Rs. 87.89 per litre.

    India’s dependency on crude oil imports plays a significant role in determining petrol and diesel prices in the country. The fluctuating crude prices impact fuel rates, along with other factors such as increasing demand, government taxes, rupee-dollar depreciation, and refinery concept ratio.

    It is essential to note that the fuel prices mentioned above are subject to change at any time as petroleum companies alter the fuel prices based on crude oil prices. These prices are due at 6 am today and are subject to change throughout the day.
