Lucknow Super Giants have lost their last three matches and had one no-result. Their captain KL Rahul is injured.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently in second-to-last place in the IPL 2023 points table. Even if they win all their remaining games, it may not be enough to move up in the table. They will face Lucknow Super Giants next.

Lucknow Super Giants are also struggling, with three losses and one no-result out of their last five matches. They are currently in fifth place with 11 points.
