Gadwal: A new student group, the “PDSU Nadigadda Student Union,” was recently launched at Sri Vidya Vocational College, Gadwal. Kurava Pallayya, BRSV District Coordinator for Jogulamba Gadwal, was the chief guest at the event, which took place on Tuesday. He was invited by PDSU leader Ganjipeta Raju and shared the stage with several other student union leaders.

During his speech, Pallayya congratulated the newly formed PDSU Nadigadda Student Union committee members. He encouraged the student unions to work hard and push for the creation of more educational institutions in the Nadigadda area.

Pallayya stressed the importance of improving the education system and urged the student unions to challenge government authorities through ongoing efforts. He pointed out that marginalized communities in Nadigadda have long been denied access to quality education.

He emphasized that student unions play a crucial role in bringing about societal change. He also called on these unions to advocate for the rights of both students and the general public by pressuring the government to implement meaningful reforms.

Pallayya criticized the Telangana state government, accusing it of neglecting the education sector, especially for the poor and marginalized. He claimed that before coming to power, the Congress government had promised free education, stipends, and fee reimbursements, but failed to fulfill those promises.

Pallayya also highlighted the poor state of government schools in the Gadwal district. He mentioned the lack of basic facilities like washrooms and toilets, along with broken doors and windows, making it difficult for students to study in such conditions.

He called on students and the youth to prepare for strong protests against what he described as “anti-people and anti-education policies” from both the central and state governments.

Pallayya encouraged the student unions to draw inspiration from leaders like Jyotirao Phule, Savitribai Phule, Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh, Che Guevara, George Reddy, Maroju Veeranna, and Jampala Chandrasekhar Prasad. He expressed his happiness about the formation of the PDSU Nadigadda Student Union and described it as a positive step for the student movement.

On this occasion, Chand Pasha (Tatikunta) was congratulated for being elected as the President of the PDSU Nadigadda Student Union. The Vice Presidents include Akapogu Raju (Gadwal), Chakri (Aiza), and Rakesh (Gattu), with Tirumalesh (Nagar Doddi) as the General Secretary, among other committee members.

Several prominent student leaders attended the event, including USFI State Assistant Secretary Ranga Swamy, MSF District President Kolla Mahesh, TNSF State Spokesperson Upper Subhan, and former AISF District President Upper Krishna.
