In the IPL 2023 match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans, the latter emerged victorious with a six-wicket win at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. After winning the toss and electing to bowl, Gujarat Titans restricted Delhi Capitals to 162/8 with a disciplined bowling effort. Spinner Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/31, while pace duo Mohammed Shami and Alzarri Joseph also contributed with three and two wickets respectively. In response, Gujarat Titans got off to a shaky start, losing three wickets within the Powerplay overs. However, Sai Sudharsam anchored the chase with a fighting unbeaten knock of 62 off 48 balls. He was well-supported by David Miller, who remained unbeaten on 31 off 16 balls, as they shared an unbroken match-winning partnership of 56 runs to seal the win with 11 balls to spare. This was Gujarat Titans’ second win in as many matches in IPL 2023.
