Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly has named Suryakumar Yadav as the best T20 player in the world. Yadav scored 83 runs off 35 balls during a match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2023. Yadav’s whirlwind knock helped Mumbai chase down a target of 200 runs in under 17 overs. Ganguly praised Yadav’s performance and tweeted that he seems to be batting on a computer.
Yadav was also named the man of the match for his incredible performance. He said that he was happy to win a home game like this and that his practice is the same as what he intends to do in matches. Yadav’s performance helped Mumbai Indians secure two points against Royal Challengers Bangalore and move to the third spot on the IPL 2023 points table with six wins from 11 games.
