A surfer is missing and presumed dead after a shark attacked him in South Australia. The incident happened at a popular surfing spot near Elliston, which is a remote town approximately 403 miles away from Adelaide. Emergency services were called to the beach after reports of the attack. The only person believed to have been attacked was a 46-year-old man. Rescuers are searching the area by boat in an attempt to find him.

Elliston is a small town with a population of around 1,000 people. It is known for its rugged coastline and popular surfing spots. In February, a girl was killed by a shark in a river in Perth, which is the capital of Western Australia.
