Hyderabad: Telangana‘s Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, has canceled a previous order to move government offices to T-Hub. This decision was part of a larger plan to reorganize office locations.
The Chief Minister emphasized that every part of T-Hub should be dedicated to supporting start-ups, tech companies, and early-stage businesses. The goal is to help create successful companies in Telangana.
Earlier, the government announced plans to relocate 39 government offices to T-Hub in Hyderabad. The Begumpet Divisional office of Revenue (Commercial Taxes Department) was among these offices. The order also planned to move the Energy and Environment and Forests departments to the Tuljaguda Complex.
The Mozzamjahi Market building was set to host the Revenue (Endowments) and Revenue (Stamps and Registration) offices. The Food and Civil Supplies department offices in Malakpet, Yakutpura, and Charminar were to move to the Chandravihar Building. The Youth Advancement, Tourism, and Culture department’s offices at NCC Group Headquarters in Secunderabad were also planned to move to Chandravihar.
Additionally, Finance Department offices in Tarnaka, Chandrayangutta, Motigalli, and Narayanguda would have moved to the Gruhakalpa Building at Nampally. Sub-registrar offices in SR Nagar and Balanagar were to be relocated to the Health Department’s premises at Vengalraonagar.
The order included moving the offices of the Director (Electronics), MD (T-Fibre), and CEO (T-Works) to the NAC campus. The Revenue (Prohibition and Excise) department was to operate from R&B office premises at Errum Manzil.
Telangana Chief Secretary, K Ramakrishna Rao, instructed officials to help department heads prepare for these relocations.
