Hyderabad: On December 1, Telangana’s Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy requested Sanjay Kulshrestha, the chairman of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), to offer loans with lower interest rates for major development projects in Telangana.
Kulshrestha and Reddy met in Hyderabad to discuss projects like Bharat Future City, the Hyderabad Metro Rail extension, the Regional Ring Road (RRR), and Radial Roads. The chief minister highlighted the construction of new roads connecting Bharat Future City to Chennai via Bengaluru and Amaravati, as well as a highway to Bandar Port and a bullet train project.
Reddy addressed the need for loan restructuring and pointed out the high interest rates previously taken by the Telangana government. Kulshrestha assured that these issues would be addressed and mentioned that loans have been approved for the Indiramma housing scheme.
Kulshrestha also announced funding for building 10 lakh houses under the Indiramma Indlu scheme. After their discussion, Reddy invited Kulshrestha to the Global Summit at Bharat Future City on December 8 and 9.
