Hyderabad: During the Ugadi celebrations at Ravindra Bharathi, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced plans to build a ‘Future City’. This new city will be designed with modern infrastructure and planning, aiming to make Telangana a model state for the rest of India.

Speaking to a large audience that included Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, other ministers, and public representatives, the Chief Minister shared his vision for the state’s progress. He pointed out that many cities in India have grown without proper planning, which has led to problems with infrastructure. He said the new ‘Future City’ will be carefully designed like Chandigarh, India’s only planned city after independence. The goal is to attract investments and create jobs for young people in different sectors.

The ‘Future City’ is part of a larger plan to improve Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. Other projects include cleaning and developing the Musi River and building the Regional Ring Road. These efforts aim to make the city more livable and attractive to investors. The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of keeping the state peaceful and safe, promising strict action against those who disturb law and order.

During his speech, Chief Minister Reddy compared the state’s budget to Ugadi pachadi, a traditional dish with a mix of flavors. He said the budget also includes a mix of priorities like supporting farmers, improving education for the poor, providing healthcare, and creating jobs. He announced a new program to give high-quality rice to poor families. Since Telangana is a top rice-producing state, the rice will be bought from local farmers and given to those in need, helping both groups.

They predicted positive developments in Telangana’s real estate sector and praised the leadership of Chief Minister Reddy. The forecasts also mentioned good rainfall and continued peace in the state.

In closing, the Chief Minister shared his confidence in Telangana’s future. He introduced the “Telangana Rising 2050” plan, which sets long-term goals to make the state prosperous and well-developed. He wished everyone a happy Ugadi and hoped the new year would bring success and progress.

The event was attended by ministers Konda Surekha and Jupally Krishna Rao, along with many public representatives, senior officials, and a large number of citizens, all hopeful about Telangana’s bright future.
