Telangana: Congress and CPI Form Alliance

The Telangana Congress and CPI parties have formed an alliance to participate in the upcoming Assembly elections in Telangana. As part of the alliance, the Congress has agreed to give two seats, Chennur and Kothagudem Assembly Constituencies, to the CPI for their candidates to contest. The Congress has also been in discussions with CPM leaders to decide on seat sharing. Both parties are open to fighting the elections together and a decision is expected in the next couple of days.
