Telangana Governor, Tamilisai Soundararajan, has asked the state Chief Secretary, DGP, and TSPSC to provide a detailed report on the suicide of Group 2 aspirant Pravalika within 48 hours. She also expressed her condolences to Pravalika’s family. Pravalika, who was undergoing coaching in Hyderabad, committed suicide on Friday night, causing tension in the city. Student unions and opposition parties held protests, but the police dispersed them and took the body for post-mortem.

The last rites of Pravalika have started in her hometown of Warangal, but political leaders and student unions were not allowed to participate in the funeral procession. The tension continues at Osmania University, where there was a confrontation between the police and students during the protests. This incident has sparked outrage across the state, with the Congress party calling for protests and blaming the government for Pravalika’s suicide.
