Telangana held municipal elections today, marked by an energetic turnout. Voters arrived early and continued to vote until the polls closed at 5 pm. Those still in line at closing time were allowed to cast their votes.
After voting ended, exit polls came out. The People’s Pulse survey predicts that the Congress party will likely lead in the elections across 116 municipalities and 7 corporations within the state.
