Telangana aims to become a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and reach $3 trillion by 2047, according to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He shared this vision while opening the new Advanced Technology Center (ATC) at Mallepalli ITI.

At the inauguration, CM Reddy highlighted the need for practical skills alongside academics. He mentioned ongoing talks with Tata Technologies to boost skill development for youths through these centers.

“The automobile industry has many job openings, but there aren’t enough skilled workers in the state,” Reddy observed, referencing feedback from auto dealers. To tackle this, 65 ATCs have been set up with a ₹2,400 crore investment, allowing 200 students per center. He also announced 51 more ATCs and a ₹2,000 monthly stipend for trainees.

Reddy emphasized that Telangana’s growth relies on addressing unemployment challenges. He warned young people against relying solely on software courses for overseas jobs. Successful ATC trainees have secured positions in Germany, earning impressive salaries of ₹3.5 lakh monthly.

He advised youths to pursue technical skills, vital for today’s job market. Addressing social concerns, he noted with concern the involvement of engineering students in cannabis cases, urging them to avoid such activities for their well-being and their families.
