Telangana Police Deny Use of Toxic Substances in Mulugu Encounter

Telangana Police have dismissed allegations made by civil rights activists claiming that toxic substances were used during the recent encounter in Mulugu. Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender addressed these concerns and clarified the events surrounding the incident.

According to the DGP, the police were conducting a combing operation aimed at curbing Maoist activities in the area. This operation became necessary after Maoists allegedly killed tribal individuals, accusing them of acting as informants.
