The government has set up a plan for giving out new food security cards in Hyderabad. Ponnam Prabhakar Goud, the District In-charge Minister for Transport, stated that the cards will be handed out at three city locations.
The new cards will be available from August 1 to August 3 for those who qualify. Distribution points are in the Khairatabad, Cantonment, and Jubilee Hills assembly areas.
A total of 55,378 new cards will help 2,01,116 people. By adding 1,37,947 eligible people to the old cards, the total number of beneficiaries will reach 2,32,297.

Collector Harichandana Dasari promised that the process will be smooth, ensuring all eligible residents receive their new cards.
