Hyderabad: The Telangana Director of School Education, Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas, announced on Thursday that promotions will begin for Head Masters Grade-II (Gazetted) and School Assistants. These promotions aim to enhance leadership in the state’s Government and Local Body schools.
Promotions will be given where there is a significant need for staff. A detailed schedule outlines the promotion process from August 2 to August 11.
Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Officers must inform eligible candidates, including Head Masters Grade-II, School Assistants, and Secondary Grade Teachers. They will also help with the necessary steps.
This initiative follows communication from the Directorate, with approval from the Secretary of Education, Dr. Yogita Rana, who stressed the need to fill staffing gaps effectively.
Dr. Naveen Nicolas emphasized that the promotion process will be fair, focusing on merit, service records, and the needs of local schools.
Officials are instructed to ensure that the counselling and online promotion activities are completed efficiently.
District Collectors and other administrative bodies have also been informed to help with the process.
This promotion effort is part of Telangana’s broader plan to improve school operations, boost teacher morale, and strengthen the education system.
