    The new Secretariat of Telangana is all set to be inaugurated on April 30th, 2021. The construction of the new Secretariat complex began in June 2020, after the old Secretariat was demolished. The new complex has been built at a cost of Rs. 400 crore and is spread over an area of 25 acres. The complex has been designed to be a state-of-the-art facility with modern amenities and technology.

    The new Secretariat complex comprises six buildings, including the Chief Minister’s office, the General Administration Department, and the Home Department. The complex also has a multi-level parking facility that can accommodate up to 3,000 cars. The buildings have been constructed in a way that they are energy-efficient and eco-friendly. The complex has been designed to have a green cover of over 9 acres, with more than 7,500 trees and plants.
