MLA Arikapudi Gandhi was arrested by police after his supporters caused a disturbance at the home of fellow MLA Kaushik Reddy. The situation led to a significant uproar, which resulted in Gandhi being taken into custody by the authorities.
BRS chief and former minister Taneru Harish Rao strongly criticized the actions against Kaushik Reddy, calling it a “heinous act” against a legislator’s home. He stressed the importance of upholding democratic values in such situations.
In response to the incident, Harish Rao quickly headed to Kaushik Reddy’s residence, along with several other MLAs from the region, to show their support. As tensions rose, more BRS leaders were seen gathering at Kaushik Reddy’s home.
