Hyderabad – The Telangana Congress has strongly supported the Indian Army’s recent success in Operation Sindoor. State Congress President Mahesh Kumar Goud praised the military for their brave and well-planned action, carried out during the night. He said the soldiers showed incredible courage and protected the nation’s dignity.
Taking to social media platform X, Goud called the operation a “historic and unforgettable moment.” He wrote, “In the face of terror, India stands united — determined, fearless, and proud. Our armed forces have once again defended the heart of our country with honor. We will always remember this. #OperationSindoor #JaiHind.”
Ponnam Prabhakar, Minister in charge of Hyderabad, also applauded the Army’s success. He urged people not to worry about the situation along the Indian borders. He assured citizens that the Telangana Government stands fully behind the Centre’s response to the recent terror attack in Kashmir.
He added that both the Congress Party and Telangana State Government support the Union Government’s efforts to strengthen internal security. “We are regularly reviewing the situation with senior officials like Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand and the District Collector to ensure public safety,” he said.
Prabhakar also asked the public to stay alert and report anything suspicious to the nearest police station. “We are fully committed to keeping everyone safe. No one should be afraid. Stay strong,” he urged.
The Congress leadership emphasized unity, bravery, and support for the nation’s security forces during this critical time.
