Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) in Hyderabad has arranged 230 special buses to help devotees during the Ganesh immersion on September 6 and 7.
TGSRTC staff are working closely with the Hyderabad Traffic Police to manage traffic and vehicle movement smoothly during the event.
Deputy Regional Managers and Divisional Managers are assigned to DCP office control rooms for coordination with traffic police. Additionally, two Depot Managers are at the Command & Control Centre to ensure real-time coordination.
Controllers are stationed at 32 key city locations to oversee bus operations and maintain seamless service.
A total of 64 drivers and 58 mechanics are working alongside the traffic police to handle private vehicle breakdowns, aiding in clear traffic flow.
Hyderabad Regional Manager Sudha Parimala stated that TGSRTC is dedicated to serving the public, offering special buses and collaborating with traffic police to ensure minimal disruptions and safe transport during the Ganesh immersion.
