The rivalry between Nitish Rana and Hrithik Shokeen spilled over into the IPL. During their match at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Indians’ bowler gave Rana an earful after dismissing him. Rana stopped and turned around to respond to Shokeen’s words. Mumbai Indians’ stand-in skipper Suryakumar Yadav and Piyush Chawla stepped in to diffuse the tension.
It’s worth noting that Rana and Shokeen are not on talking terms, despite being teammates in the Delhi side in domestic cricket. This wasn’t the first time these two players have had a run-in. Rana had an ordinary game with the bat, while Shokeen took a sharp catch and returned with 4-0-34-2.
