    Arekapudi Gandhi, the BRS MLA from Serilingampally constituency in Rangareddy under Chevella Lok Sabha segment, has won for the third time in a row. He secured a victory with a margin of 46,552 votes, receiving a total of 1,57,332 votes compared to his closest competitor from Congress, Jagdeeshwar Goud, who received 1,10,780 votes.

    Gandhi started his political career with TDP and was elected as a member of the Telangana Legislative Assembly in 2014. He later joined the BRS party and won consecutively in 2018 and 2023. At 63 years old, he is a businessman and politician from Kukatpally in Hyderabad, having also served as a government whip in the second Telangana Legislative Assembly.

    Serilingampally is one of seven constituencies in the Chevella Lok Sabha Segment, along with Maheshwaram, Rajendranagar, Tandur, Pargi, Vikarabad, and Chevella. In the December 2023 assembly elections, BRS retained seats in Serilingampally, Chevella, Maheshwaram, and Rajendranagar. However, after BRS MLA Kale Yadaiah defected to Congress recently, the number of BRS seats in the Chevella Parliamentary segment decreased from four to three.
