    Three young individuals tragically drowned in the Munneru rivulet at Keesara, NTR district on Monday. The victims, identified as G Santhosh Kumar, Y Ganesh, and Vineesh, were from Ithavaram village in Nandigama mandal.

    According to the police, five youngsters went for a swim in the rivulet but got into trouble when they realized they couldn’t gauge its depth. They called out for help, and locals attempted to rescue them. Unfortunately, by the time the locals retrieved them from the water, the three victims had already passed away. Two others were saved and rushed to the Government hospital in Nandigama, where they remain in critical condition.

    Upon receiving the news, police from Kanchikacharla promptly arrived at the scene. They registered a case and initiated further investigations into the incident.
