YS Avinash Reddy, a Member of Parliament from Kadapa, appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Hyderabad today for questioning in the murder case of YS Viveka. The Telangana High Court had previously granted him anticipatory bail and ordered him to attend interrogation sessions every Saturday from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. Avinash Reddy complied with the court’s order and appeared before the CBI today.
The Telangana High Court had granted anticipatory bail to Avinash Reddy on May 31, 2023, in connection with his alleged involvement as a key mastermind in the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy. The bail was granted with certain conditions.
