    The gold rates for today, April 4th, 2023, have been updated for Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai. The rates have decreased compared to the previous day’s rates. In Delhi, the gold rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 54,850 with a fall of Rs. 300, and the rate for 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs. 59,820 with a fall of Rs. 330. Similarly, in Chennai, the gold rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 55,350 with a fall of Rs. 250, and the rate for 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs. 60,380 with a fall of Rs. 270.

    The gold rate in Kolkata for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 54,700, and the rate for 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs. 59,670. In Mumbai, the gold rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 54,700, and the rate for 10 grams of 24-carat gold is Rs. 59,670. The silver rate in Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai is Rs. 74,000 per kg, while in Chennai, it is Rs. 77,100 per kg.

    The fluctuation in gold rates can be attributed to several factors such as changes in international market currency prices, inflation, gold reserves at central banks, interest rates, the jewellery market, geographical tensions, and trade wars. The Federal Reserves’ hint over the rise in interest rates has resulted in a decrease in the gold rates.

    It is important to note that the gold and silver rates mentioned are due at 8 am and are subject to change throughout the day. The current gold rates for Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai are provided in the table below.
