Today, the gold rates in Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai have remained stable. In Delhi, the price for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 56,450, while 10 grams of 24-carat gold is selling for Rs. 61,570. In Chennai, the rate for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 56,800 and for 24-carat gold, it’s Rs. 61,960.
Similarly, in Kolkata, the price for 10 grams of 22-carat gold is Rs. 56,300 while for 24-carat gold it’s Rs. 61,420. In Mumbai, both 22-carat and 24-carat gold are selling for Rs. 56,300 and Rs. 61,420 respectively.
The silver rates in all four cities have been steady at Rs. 75,300 per kilogram except in Chennai where the rate is Rs. 79,000.
The prices of gold and silver fluctuate every day due to various reasons such as changes in international market currency prices, inflation, gold reserves at central banks and their interest rates, and the demand in the jewellery market.
