Traffic diversions in Hyderabad due to Prime Minister’s two-day visit

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued an advisory for commuters due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on March 17 and 18. On Sunday, March 17, from 7.40 pm to 8.10 pm, traffic will be stopped or diverted in areas along the route from Begumpet Airport to Raj Bhavan. This is for security reasons as the PM arrives and travels through Rasoolpura, PNT Junction, Begumpet, Green Lands, Monappa Junction, Rajbhavan MMTS Jn, Metro Residency Lane and VV Statue junction.

The next day, Monday, March 18, between 9.50 am and 10.20 am, the Prime Minister will head back to Begumpet Airport. During this time, traffic will again be stopped or diverted along the route including VV Statue junction, Metro Residency Lane, MMTS Rajbhavan, Panjagutta, Greenlands, HPS Out Gate, Begumpet Flyover and PNT Flyover.
