    Last week, a tragic event occurred in Kuruvapalle village, Gadwal Mandal. A family was severely injured by a lightning strike while they were working in their fields. The incident happened when Anand, his wife Sujata, and their son Arun Teja tried to take shelter under a tree as it started to rain.

    Unfortunately, lightning struck the tree, leaving the family with serious injuries. They lost consciousness and were quickly rushed to Kurnool Hospital for treatment. After a week of medical care, the family recovered and returned home to Kuruvapalle.

    On Monday, TRS State Leader Nagar Doddi Venkata Ramulu visited the family to offer his condolences and support. During his visit, he urged the government to recognize the incident as a natural disaster and provide financial aid to the family, who faced significant medical expenses.
