The Telugu Association of North America (TANA) recently presented the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Award to V Krishna Mohan Rao, the Chairman of the State BC Commission. This award was given during the 23rd Biennial TANA conference held in Philadelphia.
During the conference, Krishna Mohan expressed his gratitude towards TANA for being a symbol of unity among the Telugu people. He also praised TANA for introducing the ‘Bahujan Shatakam’ book, written by renowned poet Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao.
Present at the event were TANA president Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu and World Telugu Sahitya Vedika president Prasad Thotakura.
