TSRTC workers are protesting against Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan’s stance on the TSRTC merger bill. The Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU) has called for a suspension of bus services until 8 o’clock in the morning. The workers are gathering in front of depots to express their dissatisfaction with the Governor and will be wearing black badges during their duties as a symbol of protest.

TMU General Secretary Thomas Reddy has urged all workers to assemble at Necklace Road in Hyderabad by 11 am. They plan to march towards Raj Bhavan to voice their grievances. Reddy argues that it is unfair for the Governor to prevent the introduction of the RTC merger bill in the Assembly, something that the workers have long desired.

He emphasizes that if the bill is not allowed to move forward, it would result in unfair treatment for the 43,373 workers.
