    TTD Prepares for New Year’s Crowds at Hyderabad Temples

    The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made special arrangements for devotees planning to visit the Himayat Nagar and Jubilee Hills temples in Hyderabad for New Year’s Day celebrations.

    According to temple officials, sarva darshanam (free entry for all devotees) will start at 6 am on January 1. Last year, around 15,000 devotees visited the Himayat Nagar temple and nearly 40,000 thronged the Jubilee Hills temple on New Year’s Day. Similarly, on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi, 25,000 devotees visited the Himayat Nagar temple, while 35,000 sought blessings at the Jubilee Hills temple.

    To handle the anticipated large crowds this year, TTD Assistant Executive Officer (AEO) U Ramesh stated that all necessary arrangements have been made at both temples. Speaking to the media on Monday, he also announced that for Vaikunta Ekadasi, which falls on January 10, Vaikuntadwara darshan will begin at 3:30 am and continue until late in the evening.
