Two individuals arrested in Hyderabad with MDMA drugs valued at Rs 3.12 lakh

The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force East Zone team and Falaknuma police have arrested two people for possessing MDMA drug (Amphetamine). The police found 26 grams of MDMA worth Rs 3.12 lakh with them. The arrested individuals are Mohd Amer (33), an interstate drug peddler, and Zubair Ali (27), a consumer. The main supplier, Rehan Patel alias Arshad from Mumbai, is currently on the run.

According to the police, Amer went to Mumbai in search of work in the film industry. While in Mumbai, he got involved in drugs and later returned to Hyderabad. He started working as a real estate mediator but decided to make quick money by selling drugs illegally in Hyderabad.

The police revealed that Amer flew to Mumbai, bought 26 grams of MDMA from Arshad, and then returned to Hyderabad. On Friday, the police caught Amer near Exide petrol pump in Vattepally while he was trying to deliver the drugs to Zubair. They seized the drugs during the arrest.
