    Union Minister Rammohan Naidu praised Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his key role in the establishment of Shamshabad Airport. This recognition came during the inauguration of the Airport Predictive Operation Center at Novotel in Shamshabad. He highlighted the impressive accomplishment of securing 5,000 acres of land for the airport, which was considered a major achievement at the time.

    During his speech, Rammohan Naidu described Chandrababu Naidu as a visionary leader who introduced the concept of greenfield airports. He also credited him for driving the IT revolution in India. “Chandrababu Naidu still believes that IT is the driving force behind the country’s development,” he said, emphasizing how technology plays a crucial role in improving airport management.

    The Union Minister spoke about the advanced technologies being used in airports across the country. He mentioned the implementation of Digiyatra technology in 24 airports, which enhances the passenger experience through data analytics. He added, “An airport is not just a transportation facility; it also serves as a source of employment and a cultural center,” highlighting the broader impact of aviation on the economy.

    Rammohan Naidu expressed confidence in the rapid growth of India’s aviation sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He noted that “the whole world is looking at India” and stressed the importance of completing key projects like the Warangal and Bhogapuram airports. He revealed that the Bhogapuram airport is expected to become operational by June 2026.

    Looking ahead, the Union Minister set an ambitious goal of increasing the number of airports in India to 50 within the next five years. He called the launch of the Airport Predictive Operation Center a significant step toward achieving this objective.
