    The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal is getting ready for the upcoming IPL season. A. Jagan Mohan Rao, the president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, recently inspected the stadium along with officials from the BCCI and the Sunrisers Hyderabad team. This stadium will serve as the home ground for Sunrisers Hyderabad during the tournament.

    To prepare for the matches, renovation work is being carried out at the stadium with a budget of Rs 5 crores. Jagan Mohan Rao mentioned that the work is progressing quickly. He urged the staff to speed up the process since the first IPL match at the venue is just ten days away.

    The renovations include painting the entire stadium, building new restrooms in the North Stands, and upgrading the dressing rooms and corporate boxes. New air conditioning units and tiles are also being installed to improve the facilities.

    Sunrisers Hyderabad is contributing to the renovation as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The inspection was attended by BCCI officials Vaibhav and Yuvraj, along with Sunrisers Hyderabad representatives Saravanan and Rohit.
