On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi criticized family-run political parties. He suggested that if you want the welfare of certain politicians’ family members, you should vote for their respective parties. For example, if you want K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter to benefit, you should vote for BRS. If you want the Gandhi family to develop, vote for Congress. If you want Mulayam Singh Yadav’s son to benefit, vote for the Samajwadi Party (SP). Similarly, if you want Lalu Prasad Yadav’s sons and daughter to benefit, vote for RJD. If you want Sharad Pawar’s daughter to benefit, vote for NCP. If you want the Abdullah family to benefit, vote for National Conference. And if you want Karunanidhi family to benefit, vote for DMK. However, if you want your own family members to benefit, vote for BJP.
Modi also talked about opposition parties coming together despite their past differences. He believes their unease and panic show that people have made up their minds to bring back the BJP in the 2024 elections.
