Hyderabad witnessed a tragic incident on Wednesday when a wall collapsed at a construction site in LB Nagar. The accident claimed the lives of three workers and left one severely injured. The workers were trapped under the rubble and could not survive their injuries.
The incident occurred while the workers were carrying out excavation work in the cellar of a building. Officials stated that the wall gave way, causing debris to fall on the workers. Three of them were buried under the rubble and were later confirmed dead, while another worker sustained serious injuries.
Upon receiving the information, the LB Nagar police, along with local fire and rescue teams, rushed to the scene. The rescue teams managed to retrieve the bodies of the deceased workers. The injured worker was rescued and immediately hospitalized for treatment.
The police revealed that the victims were workers who had come from Bihar. An investigation into the incident is underway to determine the exact cause of the collapse.
