Delhi Capitals, a team in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has released an emotional video wishing their star batter, Rishabh Pant, a speedy recovery after he suffered multiple injuries in a car accident last year. Pant is expected to attend Delhi Capitals’ first home game against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023, and may even sit in the dugout if the franchise can secure requisite permission from the BCCI’s Anti-Corruption and Security Unit. The team members in the video expressed their support for Pant’s recovery, with opener Prithvi Shaw saying, “I hope you are recovering well. Baby steps are coming now. Really happy to see how you are recovering.” Pant has undergone surgery on his right knee and has just started walking and doing his rehabilitation.
