Water Supply Disrupted in Multiple Hyderabad Areas, Residents Urged to Use Water Economically

Residents across several areas in Hyderabad are facing disruption in drinking water supply, affecting multiple divisions under the water supply network. The authorities have issued an advisory requesting consumers to use water economically during this period.

The disruption affects 11 major divisions covering extensive areas across the city. O&M Division-VIII includes areas such as Nagar, Sanathnagar, Borabanda, SPR Hills, Erragadda, Banjara Hills, Vengalrao Nagar, Yellareddyguda, Somajiguda, and Fatehnagar sections.

O&M Division-IX encompasses Kukatpally, Bhagyanagar, Vivekanandanagar, Yellammabanda, Moosapet, Bharatnagar, Mothinagar, Gayatrinagar, Babanagar, KPHB, Balajinagar, and Hasmatpet sections.

Areas under O&M Division-XII include Chintal, Suchitra, Jeedimetla, Shahpurnagar, Gajularamaram, Suraram, Adarshnagar, Bhagatsingh Nagar, Jagadgirigutta, and Ushodaya sections.

O&M Division-XIII covers Alwal, Father Balayyanagar, Venkatapuram, Machhabollaram, Defence Colony, Vajpayeenagar, Yapral, Chanakyapuri, Gautamnagar, and Sainathpuram sections.

The Capra Municipality area under O&M Division-XIV includes Charlapalli, Saibabanagar, and Radhika sections. O&M Division-XV affects parts of Kondapur, Doyens, and Madhapur.

O&M Division-XVII impacts Hafeezpet and Miyapur sections, while O&M Division-XXI covers Kompally, Gundlapochampally, Thumukunta, Jawaharnagar, Dhammayiguda, and Nagaram sections.

Another section under O&M Division-XXI includes Nizampet, Bachupalli, Pragathi Nagar, Gandimaisamma, Tellapur, and Bollaram areas.

Transmission Division-IV affects MES, Trishul Lines, Gunrock, Hakimpet Air Force, Secunderabad Cantonment, and AIIMS-BB Nagar.

The disruption also extends to RWS Offtakes in Aleru (Bhuvanagiri) and Ghanpur (Medchal/Shamirpet) areas.

The water supply authorities have urged consumers in all affected areas to use water economically during the disruption period. Residents are advised to store adequate water for essential needs and avoid wastage until normal supply is restored.
