In Nandi Vaddeman village under Bijinepalli Mandal, Tila Abhishekal Pujas were performed with devotion to Sri Sarthasaptha Jeshtama Sametha Saneswara Swami on Saturday Sankatahara Chaturthi in Sri Krodinama year Chaitramasa. Dr. Gavvamatham Viswanatha Sastri, Chief Priest of the temple, mentioned that Lord Shaneswara Swamy is considered a new leader in this Krodhi Nama year. On this special day of Sankatahara Chaturthi, devotees had the opportunity to have darshan of Paramashiva and Mahaganapati Swamy along with Swami.
It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva on Saturdays can quickly fulfill wishes. Devotees performed rituals to Lord Shaneswara with sesame oil, cumin seeds, and jammi leaves to seek peace from Shanigraha and remove Shanigradhadoshas during Ardhashtam Shani, Ashtamashani, and Elinati. The constellations and stars align this year for worshipping Lord Shaneswara to bring blessings.
In addition to Rudrabhisheka Pujas and Archanas to Lord Shiva, devotees also witnessed special Panchamrita Abhisheka Archanas performed by Maha Ganapati Swami for them on Sankatahara Chaturthi. Nandiswara Swami conducted special pujas as well. Temple Chairman V. Gopala Rao, along with members of the village temple committee, priests, and villagers, actively participated in the ceremonies.
Devotees from different places came together in the early morning to perform special abhishekals, Ashtottar, and Archanas to the Lord. The community showed great devotion and unity in their worship and celebrations.
