YS Jagan initiates projects worth Rs 64.54 crore in YSR district by laying foundation and inaugurating them

YS Jagan initiates projects worth Rs 64.54 crore in YSR district by laying foundation and inaugurating them

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched and laid the foundation stone for various development projects in Pulivendula. The projects have an estimated cost of Rs 64.54 crore. YS Jagan was on a two-day tour of YSR district.

On the first day of his tour, the Chief Minister participated in the consecration ritual of Sri Krishna temple, which cost Rs 4.5 crore and is located on a four-acre land at Bhakarapuram ring road circle. He also inaugurated the agriculture and horticulture colleges, which were built at a cost of Rs 9.96 crore on the campus of Andhra Pradesh Center for Advanced Research on Livestock (APCARL). These colleges will initially accommodate 121 students.

The Chief Minister also launched a state-of-the-art central testing laboratory worth Rs 11 crore, which will test adulteration of dairy products and conduct quality control tests on pharmaceutical applications, diagnostic services, and bacteria. Additionally, YS Jagan initiated face-lifting works in the 38-acre Shilparamam, which includes a function hall, musical fountain, hilltop tower with a 16.5-foot tall Dr YSR statue, boating, ropeway, and a children’s zone.

After inaugurating the hilltop tower statue, the Chief Minister visited the entire premises and laid the foundation stone for Shri Swamy Narayan Gurukul (SSNG) Trust School. The school is being built at a cost of Rs 60 crore on 12 acres of land provided by the Government. It will be constructed in two phases, with Rs 25 crore being spent on the first phase. The school will offer classes from Kindergarten to Class 12, and admissions will begin in the 2025 academic year.

Later, YS Jagan visited the Aditya Birla Group’s garment manufacturing unit and interacted with the staff. Deputy Chief Minister Amzad Pasha, Municipal Administration Minister A Suresh, MP Avinash Reddy, MLA Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, and other senior officials accompanied the Chief Minister during his visit.
